Oh well, might as well get behind them now there's no semi final on Saturday for us to possibly get the 5 back for. I'll be bloody annoyed if they don't get to the final now.

Against any other side, I always want Pakistan to win (being of dual heritage) but firmly behind England today.

We could do with Jonny proving us all right today.

He's already surpassed Roy's recent scores.

He has probably scored more than Roy has in the past year!! (only joking guys, before the Roy fans jump on me from a great height).

Very nearly out second ball though, about a cm away from being lbw.

Already done enough to justify it. Nervous moments 2nd ball though!

Re- Bairstow, it's been a pretty good 7 days for both the "unelectable" and the "unselectable". Though it may be that neither will win....

Oh dear England.

No doubt it's all Bairstows fault for destabilising the team, unsettling Hales as his opening partner and for not going on to bat through once he had set a good platform.

Reliance on our other absentees to now bat us out of the mire before being asked to do it again with the ball.

We need someone who can provide strong and stable opening, not a coalition of chaos.

If England do contrive to lose this, will we ask for our players back early to play against Middlesex? Or will the ECB rule that the Yorkshire players can't play but Middlesex can have Finn?

Perhaps they'll suprise us all and allow them to play in the Middlesex match as long as it's for Middlesex.

England have a similar issue to Yorkshire 's performance yesterday, what with only 14 fours and no sixes so far. The England score looks like coming in well below par.

Normally I'd be rooted to the cricket , even England, but a work colleague and her daughter were in the massive tower block fire just down the road from where we work in Paddington and though luckily they got out o.k. she's left with nothing. Just makes you think a bit

I echo that sentiment Egham, a truly tragic event and feeling it for all those impacted by this.

When England lose will Morgan and the selectors try and pin on the blame on JB....after all he did not top score and did not get any wickets !
Hopefully his performance today will mean less tea boy duties for JB

Morgan has a tendency to blame the bowlers when in doubt. Will be interesting to see if he tries that one on this occasion.

I'd be tempted to blame the Cardiff Groundsman and the ecb for using a worn track second time around d which is more suited to their spinners

Why are you blaming the Cardiff groundsmen and ECB when it was the ICC alongside ICC ground staff who decided to use a worn pitch?
