I remember Boycs saying he had more potential than Lythe when the latter was selected for England but currently Lees hasn't met Boycs expectations and he isn't at the races but worse still is the management do not seem to be able to address this...

If he is to take a breather then there are others alongside him on the sidelines.

And why do we always blame management when a player doesn't progress? It's up to players to develop themselves at this level. Coaches and management are good to develop and improve players when they are young but once you get to 20 you should have s good understanding of your own game and coChes and management cannot do it out in the middle for you. At this level it's more between the ears that makes the difference and then applying the correct choices and decision making out on the ground.

Sometimes coaches have the opposite effect as many will testify of those we have seen go to England and come back worse than when they went.

Get back to basics, don't over complicate and do what you did well in first place to get you recognised.
