The Essex band-wagon rolls on. If Notts win, it will be the highest successfull run chase in domestic 50 over cricket (according to the SKY guys). The dark horses are leading the CC, and look like getting to the 50 over Final. Chris Silverwood & Mags are doing a great job down there.

Perhaps Alistair Cook should have been opening for England in the Champions Trophy!

Watching these two teams knock it around, it does make you realise how far we still need to go in one day cricket. With the ECB 5, Bairstow especially, 370 would be possible but no chance without them.

As the friendliest county on the circuit against the least friendly (personal opinion of course) I hope Notts chase this down.

What a match!! A record domestic 50 over successfull run chase, ending with two edges past the keeper for two fours. Yet another quarter or semi defeat for Essex. Their record in these matches is as bad as ours.

Good game and let's hope for another one tomorrow.

The fact that Notts played a high scoring quarter-final just a few days ago may have helped them keep believing they could do it.

Bit conflicted about Worc v Surrey. Surrey likewise may be helped by winning just a few days ago.

Think I'll support the minnows anyway, just wish they could have been a bit more grown up about the TKC affair, would like to have seen him playing.

Worcestershire could have done with an extra 191 runs today.
