I am envious of those going to this game especially given the weather forecast and the feel good factor from yesterday.

I always wish Derbyshire well and they had a good win yesterday so they might not be a pushover. Too much of a good thing though might go to their heads.

So I wish them a gallant defeat in a high scoring game today with bumper cake, ale and ice cream sales.

Lyth
TKC
Willey
Marsh
Handscomb WK
Leaning
Waite
Bresnan
Plunkett
Rashid
Rafiq

I would argue this is our strongest team minus the England lads. Potentially Balance for Waite however that leaves us with only 5 bowlers (and Lyth).

I think, Fisher for Waite would make it stronger. If we are not going to pick Fisher in any competition, he will want a move like Rhodes, and we will end up losing him.

Is Plunkett fit? Tend to agree that Fisher for Patto otherwise as last night. Patto bowled okay last night but Fisher has been effective when he has played T20. Willey showed his value up the order but he was the weak link in the bowling department last night. Wouldn't surprise me if he loses his England place. He needs to develop a few more tricks in the bowling department taking a leaf out of Plunketts book.

Plunkett was injured at Scarborough, butting up during the Somerset 2nd innings. Liam batted with a runner in our 2nd innings

I was surprised that Plunkett was even named in last nights squad. The way he was limping on Thursday, I will not be surprised if it is 2 or 3 weeks before he is back.

Fisher has been left out of England under 19s as he was supposedly going to develop more by playing with his county. He isn't in either Cc or t20 teams at the moment!

Mind you England will probably call him up to replace the injured Brook...

Bowlers well on top at 48/4.

Shame for the crowd, they should have put Yorkshire in.

I wouldn't speak too soon Geoff, that last over did some damage to Rafiq's figures.

45 of the last 3 overs, just shows how quickly the initiative can shift in this format.

I'm always relieved when Chesney - the one and only - Hughes has departed...

I don't think Chesney is still on Derbyshire's books. Alex is the man who was out.

They have got a wiggle on but keep losing wickets so we should be able to get these.

It's a very little ground from memory.

momentum with them currently as they would never have imagined getting this many from 48 for 4 - that is T20 for you

Few teams would have looked to rebuild at that stage, so fair play to them for sending in Matt Henry at 6 and changing the course of the innings.

Should be chasing these still..

Agreed Menston, from a very good position, we've let this one get away from us a bit. Our spinners were costly and also Willey, but we have the batting fire power to chase this down.
