Well it's all to play for here. Can we win and stay top or will the Aussies beat South Africa and get top with a better net run rate. Plus who will finish fourth new Zealand or India.
Will we see the natmeg again?
Really looking forward to watching this England match.

Loving your enthusiasm Gavin.

We did already lose to India of course but that was pretty close.

This might be the ideal opportunity to have a right mare.

Get it out of their system in a match that doesn't really matter, rather than in the semi's or even the final.

Coming second may even be advantageous in terms of semi final opposition.

(By Mare I of course mean nightmare of a game, no offense to female horses)

Word at Derby seemed to be that England wanted to play their semi-final at Bristol. Don't know why this should be, but I heard it from at least two people.

England put in by Windie. England 55-2 off 11 overs. Although that does include 11 wides.

Does sound like there is a lot for the bowlers. So can we bowl well on it.

130-5 from 32. Drinks break.
Can England get to 200? Think we need around 180-190 to pressure the Windies.

England 220-7 off their 50overs. Slight problem for Windies Hayley Matthews bowling last over went down twice with cramp. Apparently, she usually opens the innings as well.

Matthews is opening for Windies. But runners aren't allowed in the competition so if she gets cramp again could be interesting.

A comment was made, quite rightly, about the excellent over rate (17 an hour) and why the men can not do the same.

England won by 92 runs. Great bowling performance. Defended a smallish total very well. Alex Hartley for me the standout bowler 1-25 off 10 overs.
