Cheats never prosper?

Not sure that's the case after this weekend with Gatlin last night and Amir today disproving the phrase.

In the past Ben Johnson, Hansie Cronje Lance Armstrong and others fell from grace when they were found out but in the case of Amir and Gatlin they had time to return after bans.

Lifetime bans or not, I think Amir was foolishly naive and badly advised by his cheating skipper and senior bowler and having seen him today it's clear he is a unique talent and I hope someone whose second chance is appreciated by him so he can continue to exhibit his obvious skills.

Drugs cheats I have less sympathy for....
