The day/night match at Sharjah, between Pakistan & Australia, ended at 2.09 a.m. 0n 4/9 2012. Abdur Rehman then flew to Gatwick and was driven to Hove where he took the field for Somerset shortly before lunch.

A slow left arm bowler, he took three wickets, bringing to four his tally since midnight. He is thought to be the only professional cricketer to have played on two continents on the same day.

Looks like Rehman's second performance was rather better than Phil Collins' effort with Led Zeppelin in Philadelphia.
