Whatever other accusations my be aimed at you, Dewsburian, being "common or garden" would never be among them.
And Brian, I love your ready repartee.

Think I would go aganst the grain and play brooks

Understand that he stormed out of headingley last week at not being selected.

With his temprement he will maybe feel he has a point to proove. After all he has proven in the past to be a match winner

Much as I like patto...control without wickets will just mean surrey get to 400 20 overs later....good brooks offers another dimension

Slightly off topic but I have a close friend who is an Essex fan and I see their fans posts on the fb site they are shouting ECB conspiracy from the roof tops because Cook isn't being allowed to play this week, had to smile wonder how they would react if they had 6 players stopped from playing happy.gif

Big swing on paper

The inclusion of Sangakarra and Stoneman for them and the exclusion of Rashid and Plunkett for us feels like it's tilted expectations a little in their favour.

Got a feeling we might fancy batting first and opt for a toss, especially with 3 spinners in the squad.

Isn't Pietersen suddenly making himself available for this one?

"... being "common or garden" would never be among them."
Sad to say, I was a very common-or-garden club cricketer.
