If we did get another wicket keeper it's not inconceivable that they may be a better wicket keeper than Jonny. His keeping really has come on but let's be honest, it's his batting that makes him special.

If this is the case, do you ask Jonny to step away from the gloves it that helps seal the deal? Anyway let's cross that bridge when we come to it.

Less than twenty now.

Peter why do you always bash t20? Personally I enjoy all forms of the game. I'm also here today never heard Headingley so quiet when the bowler is running in!

I made my points on the areas we need to improve

I also highlighted Steve Davies as an example of a keeper batsman. Hodd might be a fantastic gloveman but with him and Bresnan in the top 7 it leaves only 5 batsmen. Forget about root and bairstow please. Davies at Lancashire, foakes at Surrey, foster at Essex and Davies at Somerset are all decent batsman in their own right and all good glovemen so you can have it both ways.

Handscomb was poor and he didn't pull any trees up at Gloucestershire
We also in the past few years have had lehmann, brathwaite, head and marsh who was a success albeit in only 3 innings
My opinion is I'd sooner have a player all year than have 2 or 3 come in and do stints. A kolpac instead of an overseas is a far better option for me.

I know you don't want to go down the football route with sackings but I think a change is needed. T20 team on paper should of got to finals day and that's a great chance of increase in revenue. Are you saying we carry on like this next year??

Btw Id take Daryl Mitchell over 3 overseas batsmen next year unless it's marsh for a full year. Or an overseas bowler perhaps??

Which post are you referring to Dewsburian? The only one I find on this thread from Dave refers to 'squeaky bum time' I guess I can't argue against that.

Can Extras open or keep wicket? If so, problem solved.

Thank God for that. Doesn't disguise from a shocking batting performance AGAIN. Leeds should never play for Yorkshire again. To think Patterson was close to not even playing in this match.

If Gale has any nous about him, which he clearly doesn't, he would have all the batsmen in the nets all afternoon whilst giving the bowlers the weekend off.

"Leeds should never play for Yorkshire again"

If that is supposed to say Lees I think we have a contender for overreaction of the year.
