I'm not confident of a day four thread being needed so if this is the thread for the last days play of the season then your bullsh*t bingo card is below!I

1. Hodd bashing
2, calls to sack Gale and Moxon
3. Complaints about our top order failures
4. Complaints about our overseas signings
5. Moans about our long batting tail
6. Whinges about Carver not getting a bowl til too late
7. Blaming the fixture schedulers
8. Calls to sign several new players but no mention of any names
9. Debates about iffy declarations
10. Not picking Rashid for the Ashes

What have I missed?

Yeah - you need to add something about it being a conspiracy by Team England, Strauss and Sky to destroy Yorkshire Cricket - and you need to slag off Colin Graves at some point - even though we'd have gone bankrupt five years ago without his amazing generosity.

I'll keep my sanctimony to myself again - all i would add is that I'm delighted that a proper county like Essex - without the funding afforded by Test status have won the Championship. It reminds me of Leicester winning the Premiership.
Very worthy winners - they've been the best team this season by a mile. Neil Wagner is becoming my favourite non-Yorkshire cricketer.
I'd like us to make a game of it but realistically i think they probably have more than enough runs already.

Its almost October in fairness.......

Alright then - i'll predict victory on the fourth afternoon as the result of an unbroken 150 run partnership between the Hodfather and Morse - unfortunately Coad gets cramp and with the agreement of the Essex skipper Ryan Sidebottom is allowed to act as runner as we scamper the winning single from the last over...

Because cricket should be allowed a moment of sentiment.

Possibly the LEAST likely part of that scenario is the image of Ryan scampering anywhere..

I will be surprised if this game goes into the last day.
Of course we are going to lose but I hope we make Essex work for it a bit.
Got a feeling for 400 declaration just after lunch and us 150 all out about 5.20pm.

Mediocre season and plenty to work on over those dark winter months.

Maybe another one - are third umpires really needed where technology is available !? 😀
Maybe could recruit Gayle as a runner (note spelling) 😀

It's funny, before this match I wasn't aware of any cliques, leaders or followers on this forum. If pressed, I would have said that the prevailing attitude was unduly negative and clearly in the anti-Gale camp. Perceptions, innit.

You can mark my bingo card then!! ------ "Colin Graves amazing generosity"??

He did not give the club the money, it was a loan, a business deal and he is getting the same amount of interest as any other Bank or lender would have done. He gets nearly a million pounds of interest a year ad infinitum, as we will never pay the debt/loan off. Very generous when he stands to make millions from the deal!!

He did of course act as unpaid Chief Exec for quite a while - knock that off the interest payments!

Surely Essex must think they have enough by now.

Good chance for Ballance to answer all those with "Why?" on their lips after the Ashes squad announcement! He has done well by not being in the England team in the last few games.
