csvhs petition

Not that I advocate this idea in the least bit, I consider it an act of complete stupidity, but let's play devil's advocate for a second...
what if an operator cannot hear the weak signals these people wish to protect? Think, weak signal,
under my squelch level...he's in a qso with another operator, and you and I jump to the same freq they are on to go simplex. We have just broken the "Golden Rule" two parties were enjoying a qrp qso and we just fouled it up...there is some credence here as this example exists right now in the "real world"
I see their side, but I feel they are out of line to dare to infringe on the rights of others by suggesting this in the first place.
The real problem here is industry infriging on our bands on a constant (and often, destructive) basis...I get front- ended by harmonics from pagers (147.22) making the use of the repeater on this freq useless, FRS radios, and other "personal / family" radio traffic are destroying the individuality of our hobby...these "License free" radios will be a major source of qrm later for us.
