Creating unity

As head coach of our 12-14 yr old team, I stress team work. We play as a team, we win as a team, we lose as a team. There are no studs on the team. If one player runs, everyone runs. This format got the team focused on helping each other. Lineman now talk to each other about who blocks who, what the count is etc. Thr running backs lead block for each other, etc. Granted this didn't happen over night but it happened. Over the past four years, this team has a record of 29-4 with 2 undefeated seasons. I'd like to think that it is because they worked as a team and focused as a team. Hopefully your team experiences the same success.
