looked at the ad post, hard to understand what that mod is all about or how it works without seeing the hardware. It's possible you're doing something wrong, but I've never seen one like yours. All four of the 600s I've had are the piercing cap variety, cartridge goes in with the neck facing out and the cap pierces it, real simple and opposite of what yours does.
