Hi:The smaller probe bolt has been tested.This was in Nov 06 71 degrees in FLA here are the specs....I don't have the factory stock 2240 specs (i lost them but it was not more than 400 this is with Daisy Flat heads 22cal
First 4 shots gun was empty.Bone stock 2240... except for 5/8 bolt probe.....

Wow I am quite happy with this.It is also way way louder wich is kind of fun.Compaired to facttory the pellets seem to be being blasted out the barrel.
I can't wait to test the 3/4in probe. I have these and a lot of the 3/4in ones.I also have 20 cal walther barrels,that FIT CROSSMANS!!!! 17in and way cooler looking than factory brackets for 22xx guns.And side cocking hammers for 22xx crossmans,will be doing side cocking conversions soon..Check out www.pneumaticforays.com
