A friend at the GOB FT club made Tammy a great deal on it, She has only ever fired rifles and had tried a 2240 (stome cold stock from the blister pack) and didnt keep it long at all but she loves the SSP250. I believe the milled slots on the fore arm just have a touch of leather dye which really adds a little old world look to it. Crosman should have keep this model alive. There seems (to my un trained eye) very little difference in the trigger group compaired to a 22xx but it feels so much better, that and lot's more wood & metal than a 22xx just makes it a sweet feeling rig.
It does need a new barrel and I have no problem cutting the rear of a Marauder barrel off but still have no grasp on cutting (boring, polishing, other ?) the lead-in.
A pic with the RWS 6G M/B attached:
Any thoughts on what a heavier hammer spring would do in one? We wouldnt want to harm the valve stem but it would be nice if it could get to just 600fps for PFT.
