I shortened mine to a 14" lop -

Feels much better and works better with the short eye relief of a bugbuster


I removed the end piece and removed some of the frame to reduce the lop to 14", sanded the mating ends smooth and used some of a two part epoxy to re-attach the buttpad: it works like a charm.
