Furthermore, it looks like you don't understand how the device works going by the picture of yours that you posted.

I.P. theft aside, let's say, just for the sake of this discussion that Steve is right and it doesn't work - I'll bet he's right. When it gets sold to the next guy as a HDD you're disparaging Steve's proven design and creating a "Gray" HDD market.
