I designed it to win Silhouette matches. That gun was built with the SOLE intent of competing in the "Any Sight" NRA Air Pistol Silhouette matches, and it worked about perfect. A HUGE asset to the gun was my inclusion of the "hangy tank", which improved balance when used offhand in the "Taco Hold" and vastly stabilized shot to shot consistency, as well as boosting shot count. At the time, the tanks I used were home-built, and much smaller than those generally i use nowadays.
That gun was never intended to be a magnum level pistol, nor be used with powerlets or iron sights, pistol scopes, or add-on rifle stocks and extra long barrels, but then again, I know few readers or purchasers are Silhouette Air Pistol competitors either.
