The most powerful gun I have ever built.
Barrel is 14" with a 13" stainless air tube.
The valve was located 1/2" farther from the end then the normal Crosman location, so the hammer stroke is a full 1/2" longer.
The Disco valve was highly modified in pretty much every way possible.
The spring is .041 and 1 1/2 longer then the stock Discovery spring.
Has a Don Cothran rear cocking kit, with my own custom hammer.
The frame is phase 3 with an adaptation of the PPG phase 2 drop sear system.
The port seal is 5/16 poly.Surprised me with this power, as I had been using 3/8 poly tube for big bores....but the thin wall of this 9mm barrel prevented it's use.
I credit most of the huge power to the hammer / spring system, it really opens that valve and keeps it open more than long enough.
I think this gun could use a lot higher starting fill pressure, but I am limited to a hand pump...........scuba tank some day !
Shot string with 77.8 grain eugin and 3200 psi fill is :
Shot 1. 685 =81 FPE
shot 2. 630 =68 FPE
shot 3. 597 =61 FPE
shot 4. 465 =37 FPE
YES, THIS IS FOR TO FILL A CURRENT ORDER....before you guys who are waiting on a 9mm start emailing me.....the one who this is for will be contacted tomorrow with a tracking number.
