Many thanks for your reply. I really didn't want to adjust anything until I knew for sure exactly what I was doing. I don't think it will take much to be able to nail an extra strong mint from around 15m away.

It's pretty easy. The turrets are marked....

The turrets have black caps over the top of them that unscrew counter clockwise..n/t
