2260 with short crosman receiver atop a mini riser made from aluminum tube. Barrel is a 2200 soda straw
tensioned inside a titanium golf club shaft. Three screw mod to the trigger, bulk co2, SSP 250 rear cocking
striker assembly. Factory stock, reshaped, bedliner finish and stick on cheek piece. The idea was a weather
resistant light hunter for rainy days.
I've got a Cothran stainless receiver and gas tube waiting for me to get back to this one.
I don't have a standard CR .177 bolt to compare it with but something is not quite right. The bolts are beautifully made and I don't doubt Don's quality....
But what part is wrong, that is what I'm trying to figure, and by sharing hopefully help the group as a whole as I'm not the first to have a problem with bolts binding in breeches.
This is a Crosman barrel, .177 cal fitted to a AS2250XT King Ratty breech.
Now, to throw a spanner in the works, I have several CR barrels. Why does my silencer adaptor slip on to some easily and on others bind?
Cos what I'm starting to think is maybe the barrel is the error here.
