Please note the "(s)". The O-ring will respond to, and seal, all - regardless of how many there may be. The only limitation is the compliance and strength (to resist extrusion failure) of the ring.

Because an O-ring seal is dynamic, I don't think that's a worry.

Nope. I don't think the rate of rise of pressure is a factor.
