Response to I agree, but think the reason is a little more complicated.

Do folks think adding a Retina Display to the MacBook was fixing a problem? Or replacing the click wheel of the original iPod with a touch sensitive wheel? Ford added an eco-boost engine to its F150, was that fixing a problem or reacting to the market? That's how I look at the EPiC display update - it was changed to accomodate how customers were using it. Same with the valve. It wasn't a "problem", it was a reaction to what we were seeing in the marketplace.

While the magazine loaded the Nosler bullets just fine, the design was flawed. I'd call it v3 since v1 was inserted from the right (see the SHOT Show Media Day at the Range video from 2011). User feedback had us redesign it so it was inserted from the left, away from the bolt.

For those who are not familiar with these udpates, here is the post: http://www.crosman.com/croswords/?p=2643
Please note the article leads with animal kills.

We update products or add (and subtract) to the lineup based on our customers. The Rogue has a grander purpose: to bring attention to airguns being for adults and the halo effect has been a success. Marauders and Nitro Piston-powered guns are more popular than ever and folks who had never considered an airgun for small to medium game hunting are approaching us at shows, online and in the stores. And those wanting the ultimate in air power are getting the Rogue, hence these updates. The only thing keeping the Rogue from exploding is limited hunting opportunities (read: legal for deer). And we're leading the way on that too.

Thanks to Dan and others who voiced their support.
