This the bathroom stall stuff Ive been talking about. Used the band saw with the jig to cut it round, used the same jog to sand it mostly smooth on the disc pad of my belt sander. Holes drilled using my drill press and forstners or twist bits. The "cavity" was routed out using my 20 dolllar laminate trimmer with a 3/4 round nose burr bit. The burrs cut the small grooves that run the circumference of the wheel

Other side of the wheel. Still see the layout lines in green and black sharpie. The green bled thru the primer, hope it doens bleed thru the red paint

After a long and chemicaly dnagerous process, I have managed to anodize plastic.

Couple coats of rattle can red later.......

No its not great. But it works. Used 2 screws 180 degrees apart. After the Nats I'll take the time to find some one to make a prope custom wheel for it. And now that I see the pics, it will have to be red ano (assuming its aluminum)

The plastic is just uner an inch... 995 or so. the forstner bits cut mostly clean holes, took a couple to understand how the bits were cutting the plastic. Had I known the burr bit was gonna cut the grooves the way it did, It hav used a regular router bit.

And at some point maching out the center hole, it slipped and its a little out of round. DOnt thing that wil matter, but Ill be calibrating ranges next couple days. We'll see

Ill admit, its ruff and some what ugly (it is red, how ugly can it be? happy.gif ). But I proved toi myself with some fore thought and creative use of my tools, you can make stuff you need.I have about 3 hours int othe wheel, includning rattle can time

Tools used: band saw, drill press, 4 inch bench belt sander with 6 inch side disc sander, harbor frieght laminate trimmer. burr bit, forstner bits and HSS twist bits and a custom jig

If you know aht your tools can do, the hardest part will be breaking down the sequence  so you know what tool to use when and how.
