I recently rebuilt two 1377's with parts from crosman. I guess it was before a price increase. Nevertheless, I put the guns together, one with the steel breech and a new barrel, transfer port, orings etc, and the other just rebuilt as stock. Total parts were about 60.00 to ressurect two 20+ year old guns. Seems pretty ok....In the meantime I acquired two HW pistols, a HW 40 and a HW 45, both in .177. These are both very, very nice shooters, and put the crosman 1377's soundly back on the shelf to collect dust again. I know there is a price differential between crosman and better quality products, but if crosman raises the tariff to play, people will cross another bridge. I was thinking of doing the 1701 grip frame mod, but if the price for parts has gone up substantially, I'd rather not, thankyou. tk
