Response to This set up would work also, but

I've decided to use a set of Leaper's compact AR-15 rear sight. http://www.leapers.com/index.php?act=prod_detail&midx=584&allids=583_584&itemno=MNT-950RS02-B
and a Leaper's hand-guard front sight. http://www.leapers.com/index.php?act=prod_detail&itemno=MNT-751L&midx=588&allids=584_583_588
mounted-on. http://www.alchemyairwerks.com/store/p121/Stainless_Steel_Sight_Holder_for_3%2F8%22_%28.375%22%29_dovetail_sights_%28NOT_LPA_MIM%29.html
Adapted to the receiver and front sight holder wihttp://www.leapers.com/index.php?act=prod_detail&midx=621&allids=583_621&itemno=MNT-DT2PW01

This is the photo that convinced me the combination of sights and adapters would work.

Note how the receiver dovetail and the dovetail of the front sight holder are on close planes.
This is the element that allows for my choice of sights to be compatible.

I have a similar set of AR-15 sights mounted on my Daisy 953 http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=878522
As such, my SSP pellet rifle will have compatible sights with my 760 BB-gun.
