Crosman 140 pumping problem

Hey! I recently rebuilt a 140, over the weekend I was checking the fps with a chronograph, 3 pumps, 6 pumps and 10 is where the problem popped up. The lever rivet broke, I fabricated a steel rivet , the pump lever is working fine but it stops short of closing, it is like it is binding on something. I checked to see if there was a bend in the pumping lever, none. Then I disassembled the gun and everything looked ok, I still can not get the pump am to close. Any ideas ?
