I would like to know if anyone makes a barrel shroud that isn't just for looks but actually hushes the gun down. i do alot of indoor shooting and want my gun a lil' quieter, and i don't want to get a bunch of stuff about the BATF regulations because i have already read up on that.

Vegetarian - that's an old Indian word meaning 'lousy hunter'”

Just when I thought I had all my bases cover in the Hobby department I came across this most excellent Airgun forum, Now the madness begins....."PROTOSNIPER"

Baby nipple

May 15 2008, 9:51 PM

A buddy of mine told me you could put a baby nipple (the ones of the baby bottles) on the end of your gun, put a rubber band on there to hold it on, and slit it down the center then again forming a cross. Its supposed to quiet it down, haven't tried it myself, but hes a cop and told me the idea so would think it would be legal.

Pellets leaving the barrel would touch the "device" ...

and it would be crap for accuracy. Let alone the fact it would never do any good for sound anyway. Someone is pulling somebody's leg. 'Nuff said. Put on a pair of ear muffs or plugs when shooting indoors. Easy peesy.
