Old crosman super pells

I just found an old plastic container of .22cal super pells in closet. the pellets have turned a dull gray color. should they be cleaned before sending down the barrel? I think I read here while back to wash in coke? would be ok to just shoot them as is?

If they do not have a white powder on them then shoot the pellets as they are. The white powder is lead oxide and extremely toxic to ingest or inhale. Don't bother with it. Dave

Yes i would say these pellets are oxidized what I see as gray rubs off as white dust. must be past experation date.
