Hi, Its 8Pm ish here in the UK, & the red wine is a running ! Did you ever get these !
The small cartridges are pumped up with air from the blue pump ( Pic ) A pellet .22 or .177 is placed in the fore end,1 pump & you now have a live cartridge ! ( Filled with air )Completely self contained,

The blue pump is a Brocock pump, Designed entirely for these Air Cartridges )1 Pump is sufficient to propel a .22 pellet at 600 Fps, ( Check the Brocock site, Rifle is a Fox )The other Pump, I use to charge my guns,An Axsor

Brocock also designed & made an " Air Cartridge "
This was to replace the 12 Gram Co2 cylinder. It was pumped up in the same way,Using the Brocock pump To a pressure of ( I forget ) I used 1500 psi.
This could be charged way above the Co2 pressure & used over & over, Did you ever get these ? They came of course with the brocock guns, Now banned in the UK.
I have a couple, This one is new & unused, ( I haven,t used them for a few years, But they work perfectly.
Looks like " Another Bottle " Ha ha, All the best ged

Hi Paul, Yes the pump will do, In fact any stirrup pump,
but do you have the " Adapter " to put it in ?
I had to machine 2 up, ( Now long gone )
If anyone needs one, I,ll make some.

Cheers Ged.

I dont think that you can use the cartridge in a 2240. But you can use them in umarex and simular pistols.

Rechargeable 12 Gram Cartridge

July 4 2009, 4:46 AM

Hi Tommy, After thinking about it, It would !
If the point was ground flat on the piercing pin ( & If it was long enough to open the valve every shot ) you would end up with a " Regulated " Gun ! ( maybe )Just a thought.

All the best. Ged.

How many shots could you get on a charged "12 gr" bulb?

July 4 2009, 2:54 PM

If you filling with air, it's an awfully small reservoir. I got some nitrogen filled 12gr sized bulbs and they got 4 full power shots out of my MK 1.

Define 'full' power... I was told...

July 4 2009, 5:52 PM

nitrogen bulbs were higher psi than CO2. So you should get more fps... Am I mistaken...

Thanks

Mark 1's run in the ...

July 4 2009, 7:08 PM

450-550 range for the most part. So if he got four shots in that range and you want more power then you will pay the price. That being less than four shots. For the most part you get less than 1/4 closer to 1/5th the shots with Nitrogen as you do with co2, in the same sized tank that is.

I used to have a life. But now I have the forum. I am a sick man?

There was a fifth shot but it was pretty weak but the other four were close enough to co2(at 80 degrees that POI at 20 yards was the same a co2.

I can't see a use for them unless you just have to whack a red squirrel at 20 below zero and all you have is a QB(you might get 8 shot with two).

Rechargeable 12 Gram Cartridge

July 4 2009, 11:54 PM

Hi,I am told they shoot 10-12 shots ?
Its a long time since I used one, This one is new/unused.
I don,t know what pressure was in the Nitrogen cartridges or even the output of the gun ! This is relevant to shot count.
Here is a Pic of a Brocock TAC cartridge,( The little one ) This gives 600 Fps in .22 with one pump ( Read the above thread )On the Brocock Fox.
In comparing the 2, & looking inside, I can well imagine that the Larger cartridge has 10 times + the volume of the smaller IE 10-12 shots does seem feasible.
Also that much higher charge pressure could give a much greater output ?
What do you think ! Cheers Ged.
