an 88/4500 should last the whole year at the low fill.
for reference hand pump filling, with an FX pump, it takes total 18 strokes to recharge. no way you're going to be inconvenienced or run out of air with this setup. a hill pump should be less strokes.
everyone is going the other way for more power. to me this is a reasonable short distance hunting setup. what would be nice now is some clue on how to fine tune and maybe squeeze some more shots in a string. actually somewhat moot as the thing is using the unusable lower pressure air in a tank, or a few pump strokes and not enough to heat the pump, and no pressing need for more than 22 shots in a session.
likely leave things as they are. you have to hand it to crosman. they give you a unit that even someone like me can take a reasonable stab at custom tuning.

i thought i replied , a guy on the yellow a few months ago tuned his to shoot 12 grainers at ~500 for 100 shots lol, thats alot.. he filled to 3000 obviously..If i recall he did alot of transfer port work.
