Got new gun today!

Finally got my gun in. I'm new to CO2. How long is a cartridge good for if you only shoot a few shots and put it in the closet? It's a .22 cal. with 18 inch barrel. Feel nice and is light. Shoots hard and straight to.

sweet! as long as the seals are good, gas will hold forever. pell-oil helps with that. nt

Mine does about 32 or so good shots, then about 10 more that need some serious compensation, after that you can see the pellets in flight.

I usually shoot a few shots, shelve the gun for a week or so, shoot a few more.... I know mine will hold for at least a month.

Any thing worth shooting is worth shooting once.

My 2250XE gets 25 good shots, then starts to drop off. I think the internals are the same as yours. I use it for squirrels so after 25 I go to a new cartridge. Get yourself a good scope and a TKO brake and you will love it.
