Was thinking we'd argue about, um er ah hmmmm discuss vigousouly happy.gif the gun to build. Then have a similar discussion on what the gun needs, identify the sesquence then who cna do that particular mod then send it on.

ITs like a science experiment... we outline the hypothese, define the action streps, do the experiment and compare the results the hypothese

Thats why ya discuss it

June 29 2012, 9:55 PM

no do a pistol one time, a rifle antoher, what ever you can get for essentially free.

the work on the piece and the shipping is your contribution to the effort. ITs a lab fee.

Me? I'd be stoked to have something show up from one of the pneumancers that hang here, then \add my stuiff and pas it on to the next wizard. If its a gun your interested in, then you should do it as a way to see what has been done. But you have to be able to take the criticsm should any come at ya.

Consider it a "master class" that raises the state of airgunning

OR.... and I'll put on my Nomex for this one....

July 1 2012, 1:14 PM

We have the discussion of the gun to build, purpose of said gun, make the list of mods it needs and it goes off to ONE person.

Said victim, er volunteer, does all the work, makes sure it meets the groupthink for the build, and ship it off for analyisis.

Trouble with this theory isthat some of the folks around here have tooling to do stuff that the "kitchen table" builders cant. Thus skewing whats possible from mere mortals happy.gif

So a grip maker isnt gonna be asked to machine a valve, and furthermore u decide what ur modd will be with group approval as we move foward..it maybe just be workin the shot string.
