I thought I remembered reading a while back about certain scope mounts causing barrel seperation on these pumpers due to the mounts latching onto the barrel instead of a scope rail. I currently have the Crosman 4-Pc Intermount.

Should I be concerned about barrel seperation?

I was told I can not use the Air Venturi Intermount as they don't fit the older models.

If I need new mounts, is my only other option the Ingvar Alm mounts and are they still availible?

God bless,
Michael V.

scope mount

Those mounts will work. I use them on my vintage Sheridan and my Benji 392. I use pistol scopes on these rifles so I can load and pump without any problems.

Years ago Sheridan made a mount that dug into the joint but these new ones don't.

A new mounting system is in the R&D stage that will mount the scope lower to the barrel. Check all the INTEGRABASE postings on this site

I plink, therefore I am.

I did check out the new base in the works. It looks promising. Now to scout mount or not. Hmmmmm, choices, choices.

God bless,
Michael V.
