Carl Quick's LiteWieght 2240

So for about the last 24 months, I've had her on a serious diet. Now I am happy to report that she lost nearly 13 ounces and is feeling so much better. And let me say one thing, when I pick her up with one hand now she is light as a feather. Well, almost a feather.

Things I have done so far:

OEM main tube was lightened by me.
Barrel is OEM and trimmed down by me.
Main tube plug is made of Delrin by me.
Gas cap is aluminum, comes from HPA and bored out by me.
Hammer is made from Delrin by me with a modified 1701P striker.
Valve is an aluminum Disco rear end with a brass Pro-Top by Anthony.
Trigger grip frame is aluminum by Bluefork Design and then hogged out by Gregg.
Front barrel band is aluminum, made by Anthony, drilled by Rich and milled by me.

I'd like to get an Intermount (with Slotted screws )vs. hex cap screws for a friends older Sheridan 5 MM ,but I may need a spacer between Actual barrel Dia. & I.D. of Intermount, since they're made for .435 O.D. Barrels likr the 13XX & 22XX's any suggestions/ideas?

Here's what you need, they work great on my '65 Sheridan as well as my late model Benjamin.

You might also check out the INTEGRABASE.

I plink, therefore I am.

My friends Sheridan is of the rocker safety models. I guess I'll have to Get My Calipers & go Measure that Barrel..and I can use the B272 4pc. set up & make a tube the same O.D. as the I'D.
of the part that would fit on the barrel. I believe,if I'm not mistaken that B272 Mounts to a 7/16"
(or .435)barrel like those of the 13XX,22Xx series guns. after I make tube(7/16" O.D.) with whatever size hole will slide easily over 'dan barrel I can drill 2 holes, tap for 8-32 and put set screws to hold Base tube to barrel then affix B272 to it and Voila!
