It's been a while since heard anything new on the 2100 BB-gun project.
Anything new to report?

In the meantime, I've been entertaining myself with a Crosman 760 that I've found unexpectedly enjoyable.
So much so, I regret not having purchased one some years ago.
Before the transition to a synthetic receiver.

I should have done the samething with the Daisy 953 SSP.

Barrel

May 14 2017, 7:43 PM

I may finally have a usable barrel. The valve is in but may need a stronger spring, the seat leaks a little at the start of the stroke.

Reaming a deep hole is the pits. happy.gif The reamer heats up quickly then refuses to cut, let it cool, and it will cut nicely again.

Usable Barrel

May 15 2017, 4:53 PM

Well, if you're having barrel problems ... why not install an OEM Daisy 499 shot tube.
Might be an expedient that may yield results.

Thought you disappeared on us! Perhaps I should have sent an email! Gosh, I posted results long ago. One pump or two is what you get. No more than two.

I do recall the discussion of the number of strokes ... how about accuracy?

Shoot-Off

May 15 2017, 5:04 PM

How about a shoot-off to determine which 2100 is the most accurate?

Let's see if you'll can beat my 760 with open sights.  LOL

That looks tough to beat!

When you get the rifle you can test it. That way you can feel it out against the other rifle. Since you will hold them the same in the controlled environment.
