My opinion is that the land belongs to the Palestinians, and the UN had no right to give land away to another people from Europe.
But you can't just tell the Jews to get out now, to be fair I would say split the land 50/50, right down the middle.

Will seeing that they didn't give a rats ass for Isreal for 2000 years and now they want it back. It's like leaving your car on someones property for 10 year's and coming back to take it back.
P.S. To Jews why all the sudden you want the holy land back?
And don't say because of anti-semitism or hitler why all this time to wait to get it back? I mean there were prominet rich Jews throughout history they could of help fund a takeover. Why wait 2000 year's? The Jews had a good relation with the Ottoman Turks why not then did the Jewish people lobby for there land. Instead the Ottomans sold large tracks of land to the Greek Orthodox Church. The Greek Orthodox Church is the largest land owner in Isreal right now but the Jewish government is tring to get those lands back Illeagally. The Knesset sets on Church land leased to the Isrealis.
I would like to get your feedback.

I think both were right to the land. The Jews lived there, and asked for land, they got it. Then the Palestinian got their own land. Fair enough, for me, both got what they wanted, and neither got Jerusalem, which is also fair since it's sacred to both Islam and Judaism. But today, I think a Palestinian state should be formed, with Jerusalem being shared by both countries, though it will never happen.

The state of Israel is a matter of reality. Whether it should have been founded the way it was in the first place is idle speculation. It's there and will continue to exist.
But so will Palestine. As much as Israelis would like the Palestinians to just "go away" they aren't going to. So you may as well try and get along. That won't be easy, since so much hatred has built up over the years. But with God, all things are possible.
As for men, it would help if all parties humbled themselves. The endless killing, hatred and recriminations must stop. Nothing good comes of violence, not in the long term. Both Israel and Palestine need fresh leadership, open to new ideas and with vision for the future. Sharon and Arafat are not going to get the job done. They're both too entrenched in the past and too full of hatred.
It's really up to the people of both nations to make change happen. Politically, it may not be possible but individuals can achieve things that political parties can not.

Bands of Jews and Arabs have inhabited the region as far back as we can trace history, so both may have some historical claim.
But up until the late 1800s, the area was much more sparsely inhabited than it is today.
Modern Jewish exoduses into the land began in the late 19th century, and expanded tremendously in the 1920s, and the Jews began to build infrastructure and develop a strong commerce.
This in turn attracted Arabs from the surrounding regions, so it can be said in truth that most of today's inhabitants of the region are relative newcomers.
But the region was never a united "Palestine", and at the time Israel was created, it was simply a British protectorate. It never governed on it's own, never exhibited manifest destiny to exist as a sovereign state.
After WWII it became obvious that the Jews needed and deserved a homeland (After all, Britian had been promising them one for a quarter of a century), and the boundries were thus drawn up, with the Palestinians being allocated the West Bank.
But the Arabs launchched terrorist attacks from the West Bank, and were doing so at the time of the Six Day's War that resulted in it's anexation.
For the truth is that many, perhaps most, Palestinians do not simply want their own state, the want an Islamic caliphate with no room for Jews.
Hammas and many of the newer terrorist organizations will tell you as much. Why liberals seem so unable to acknowlege this irks me.
It's not about a homeland. Palestinians had the West Bank and they attacked from it. Jordan would provide enough land the Palestinians if that was truly what it was about.
Too many Palestinians see all of Israel as their Holy dowry, and do not Jews in it.
Too many Americans and Western Europeans blind themselves to this.
