The current Intifada is largely due to his actions at the Temple Mount. Many thousands of Palestinians and Israelis have died as a result of his POLITICAL action. Incredible. And yet you Israelis still support him? Even more incredible.
Israelis better realize real soon that this almost unbroken string of rightist leaders has not brought them security. On the contrary, it has made them far LESS secure. Israel may be militarily powerful today, but it is probably more at threat than at anytime in it's history. Largely because even many Israelis have stopped believing the national dream. You can't build a righteous nation on the misery of your fellow man.
Israel desperately needs a leader with vision and imagination. Sharon is certainly not that man. You criticise him for some minor graft, but his crimes against humanity are infinitely more reprehensible. You can shrug your shoulders and profess that the respect of the rest of the worlds nations doesn't matter. But it does. And you know it.
Find another Rabin!

When Rabin was Prime Minister he gave away parts of Israel to Lebon(a terrorist country. Sharon is doing the same thing. Israel needs a definite new leadship. But me and thousands of Jews in Israel and world wide don't think it should be another Rabin.
