Do you guys have contact to your old brothers in arms? I mean, do you meet up sometimes or just keep contact loosely or are you even close friends??

One of my best friends served with me in Boot camp (me currently in reserve, him not in the armed forces anymore) & we see all the time :D

And all the others? Do you have gathering of all the comrades or something like that?

Not anymore...

Sad, really.

I have some found memories, almost like some people seem to have of their high school or college years.

I almost view it as part of my "growing up"...

I still keep in touch with some of the people I was on active duty with, even if I haven't seen them in years. I used to meet up with a friend of mine from active duty in Miami whenever I went down there, but he's reenlisted and now out at Camp Pendleton.
