Okay, when you read the heading of my post, you might of though ''what on gods earth is he talking about'' but let me explain.


Okay, it seems man is getting to big for his boots. These days, the fate of countrys could be determined in the push of a button.

Think of atom bombs, nukes! man is not responsible enough to weild such power. Isent it scary how out of hand modern warfare can get???. imagine what nuculer warefare would do to earth!!! One man, with all that power, imagine if hitler had nukes, we all know he was fairly intelligent (strategy wise/ political wise etc) but he was also a nutball (i think we all agree), imagine if he had nukes that time, everything would be obliterated.
The world is too small and man too careless to weild such weapons. What ever happened to good old warefare??? Where war would be confined to soilders. We must stop all nuke's in the world, look at iraq, war (because of nukes/oil) . Imagine if saddam had obtained nukes and he though, ''what the hell im gonna lose anyway'' and he fired them at new york???. New york would be over, LA, would be over, if countrys started leting nukes of the entire earth would be finished.

If two countries have a dispute, let them fight and whatever, but dont blow up the ****ing world. Its a fact theres always going to be ware, its human nature, human weakness, but to weild such weapons is not a wise thing, its a ridiculusly stupid thing.
Im not just talking about nukes either, theres lots of weapons coming out, and there just frighting, there capabilitys unjustified.
Although we are all soilders, well, some our most of us on this site. I think we all still wish there would be never any war, never any need for war. Especially when we foolishly dabble with such powerful weapons.

your last remark might hold some of the strategic reason to holding nukes from the perspective of political leaders and security forces, it might serve as a reassurance to prevent catastrophic conflicts when you know something as devastating as a modern nuclear bomb is ready for use by one of the sides.

On the philosophical level, yes it does seem insane that we have reached the point where our technology is presented at its pesk in warfare-related technology, keep in mind, that there isnt a weapon that was developed by humans and not used, so who knows whats in store for the future.
