That joke of another military forum has closed their Greek/Turkish forum because the idiotic moderator mishandled the altercations. He threw out the moderate folks and kept the trouble-makers. Real smart on his part.
I think a Greek/Turkish forum here would draw over an immediate 15-20 folks who've reached the limits of their patience with Brand X. Give it a chance!
we had a persian and turkey/greeece forum with nobody responding to that.And some of the greek leaders from that forum have told other greeks to not visit this forum......and unfortunately some greeks heard their shepherds,
greek and turkish forum could have confrontations and i am sure it could have been handled much better here....but tell that to the turks and greeks....
I support the idea of a greek-turkish forum and am certainly open to the idea of allowing more freedom of expression than certain other forum's currently allow.
landos is already a moderator (albeit a reluctant one) and I feel he would be fair to all sides. inevitably, he would be accused of being biased and I would like people to know that if we open up such a forum, I would completely back him regardless of the volume/intensity of complaints. if enough people support the idea, illaira could reopen one of the dormant forums I have in the bullpen.

Long time no speak. In light of all the issues you are having with brand X, I think the BEST 2 things you can do, is to create a Turkey vs Greece forum to bring members from the other side. Its war here and if you create it, others from different forums will come also.
Since Landos is a moderator along with Illiria who has ties with Greece, its only fair if I am made a moderator to balance it out. I will be fair and im sure Landos and Illiria will be too. Special congrats to Illiria for doing a great job here. I had my doubt about him but he has proved me wrong.
Another idea is to have a Pakistan vs India forum. Have you seen how many people from these countries participate in other forums? A HELL OF A LOT! You start it and advertise of google or somewhere else, they will come bro.
Ive made one forum and the reason we put it on hold is till more greeks and turks get informed regarding this forum.
The pakistani india forum is a great idea.
We need though the poeple to come. We dont want these forums to be useless links.

So if you know of any other Turkish or Greek "netizens" that wish to post, tell them they are welcome to post on the main forum too!

Hello, Greeks and Turks alike. Some of you are long lost friends/enemies that I have not seen in a while. I think that a Greek-Turkish forum is an important element to help get this site going with some oooomph!. I don't think that there are any 2 peoples who share a more energetic and healthy animostiy towards eachother ( just look at the message participation over the past year on WAFF Greek/Turkish forum!) , this site should take advantage of that. I volunteer my service as Mod if it is needed. Anyway, it seems that both Greeks and Turks from the other forum are not coming here in sufficient quantities and for obvious reason/s, one is that that most will not be worshiped here as they are there as this group is more fair to everyone. I know a couple of Greek and Turkish usenet newsgroups that I can spread the word , if the owner of this site will permit it.
I think we should go ahead with the establishment of a greek-turkish forum if illaria feels like setting it up ( if so utilize one of the dormant forums we are not using).
I also think that we should add a india-pakistan forum. the hits we have been getting justify adding these forums.

All of us use other forums either they are political, sportive,,ilitary or whatever pleases us.....it is not wrong for other poeple to have the options to entertainment.
Thats y i dont understand whats the deal with WAAF being scared and crying about us trying to get their members....
all of us are members of different forums ....or is that the dictatorship attitude they have been developing there...
Im gonne open the turkish and greek forum, and i assure myself that there will be balance there ...and not overmoderating, conflicts and debates are expected but to be fair when actions are taken is more important.
As with the main forum I will also try to moderate all the other forums, including any future Greece and Turkey forum. I can assure you I don't have a bias on that area, but I intend to act against any excessive insults. And in particular I will have ZERO tolerence for insults directed against family members.
