I'd like to knowwhy that thread was deleted also, since we all (administrators) agreed recently that we wouldn't delete threads.
we agreed that we would only edit or lock them and only lock them if they were a violation of tos. I have no problem with American (or any other nation) bashing so I will certainly look into it.
and no hbn, you are mistaken. people can criticise any nation they want here as much as they'd like. if any administrator has a problem with that, they will be removed pronto.

well that is your opinion and yes, critical remarks about a nation are preferable than bashing but we tolerate a lot here. I think? starting to get the idea that the administrators need to get together and be reminded that we allow topics such as this one that was apparently discarded.

well dragon wasn't flaming in my opinion and I'd rather you complain in the proper forum rather than be unwelcoming in every thread he posts. I strongly disagree with someone being so unwelcoming especially since you have flamed often yourself. a little like the pot calling the kettle black.
here is what you said. I don't see the 'for me' part of it. anyway, you posted the same protests against him in every thread he started and we got the point after the first post you made. no need for you repeating it again and again. he is welcomed here as are you and myself and other administrators will decide who comes and who goes.

- I do live by my word; when I said, Internet friendship are forged from fire and conflicts! Let me give you two examples as follows:

- Let me give you a live example for your reference: Mike Murphy(forum owner) and I used to have massive fights when we first meet, because Mike have never seen a fire flaming Chinaman before(many don't, lol)! Mike used to be so angry with me; he is ready to ripe me up! Over time, our Internet friendship grow; Mike settle down, understand the finer meaning of my messages! Mike still don't accepts all my views and my points; but, Mike and I mutually respect each other, our differences, our values, our lifestyle..... and more importantly, we respected each other as an Internet friend separated by long distance and time! Is that not remarkable; where two person, coming from two distinct cultures..... despite our different is lifestyle and political/philosophical views....... We respect each other as an equal on this virtual corner of Internet world!
- Let me give you another live example for your reference: Bharat(Outspoken Young Chap), was the prime reason why Ol' boy first comes to Network54! For the beginning when WAFF was formed, Bharat used to have massive flames to bowbeat the Chinese members. I was ask to come here to tame the crazy wild Indian; after the job done, I stayed because I enjoyed the smaller forum environment, where posting exchange are more direct and more personal! You might not be aware of this; at the start, Bharat and I used to have massive Indian-Chinese flame chat. But, I break down his defense one argument at a time; until I earned his respect. Today, me and Bharat is the best of Internet friend; we have mutual respect for each other!
- Many time, specially for the newer forum members(newbie); when they first meet my posting, many are shocked and surpassed to see a flaming Chinaman. They get curious, they get angry(of my posting), and they strike out...... gotcha! Then we debate, we chat, we fight, we argue.....; hopefully at the end of the day, we make a new friend.
- Many people don't agreed with all my posting, my unconventional views...etc; but, many people(despite our differences)....... still respect my posting because I back them up with sound logic, solid reference and silly jester humor to mock at myself!
- Hopefully, you enjoyed reading my posting all these years; find it entertaining, learn few information, disagreed few of my views............ Most importantly, I hope my posting stir you to think outside the box!

From the beginning of the Global Forum; you have continually whining and crying asking Mike to nominate you as the mods! What is so big deal being a mods on the Internet(virtual world)? Are you so insecure as a person; who will not be happy and satisfied until you obtained this mods titles? Are you so shallow and unsure of yourself; you needed a virtual forum Moderator Titles to be a complete human being?

- My role in this forum is not to promote membership for Global Forum; Mike invited me as a guest to write on his forum, I enjoy chatting with anyone and many topic...... so I accepted his invitation. If so happened that Global Forum membership increase while I am here; great, all the better! But, I can not take this credit; for the successful forum formula is created by Mike and the rest of the mods in this domain. Me is only a lowly poster, just liken the rest of member on this forum; I don't enjoy special responsibility nor rights, I am only here as a guest liken the rest of you!

I know how to deal with Dragon.He can make sense,you just need to infer from his lines.That and have a steel hide and a harlequin attitude to him.He can be very irritating,but he does bring some gems of knowledge and amusement to the forum.
other than that he is a joker and a bit of a bastard,at least imo.but on the whole I find him amusing.
