well there are alot of defferent,call names used by different people.but to what i know the "dogmen" of old was to refer to a dogfighter.he was a man who raised a breed of dog and knew of the dogs heart,and what he could do,"for the lack of a better word" but is time has went forward we find that there is a new dogman comeing up.thay seem to be more for the dogs look mind and what the dog can do in the ring,rather than the box! so with each year you will see what the 21st centery has brought out with it,it is not so fine of a point to say "dogmen"! there are dog women ,dogkids,dogbabbys,and the most respected..."doglover" so i hope that this put a better view to the dogman.now you can still find the paracites of the past in some back woods rundown barn but who would want to go to a barn that is going to fall in on you hell i am the only nut to be doing that."but it has to be on fire" then it's my job..so hold as you are and be as you know the dogmen of today are a leap and bound from what the name was in the 70's
