Every one that came to the show got a wake up call on how intense the competition is going to be this year in the AAPBA weight pull event. The old pound for pound record, 150 times the body weigh was broken by the top three pullers. The track was level and flat and check by many of the pullers. There were a couple of dogs that were eliminated because of breaking the strict rules that are mandatory in the AAPBA for safety reasons that had the potential of scoring within the top ten and I’m sure the owners of these dogs will be very careful next time and make the competition even more intense next show.
