      Here is what I HOPE happens this year...

      - Sign Dave 'Moose' Morrisette and make him your 4th line enforcer

      - Trade Baby Anson Carter and Hal Girl to Washington for Brendan Witt and Ken Klee (both d-men).

      - Trade Sergei Samsonov for Bill Guerin.

      - Admit that signing Peter 'Mary Poppins' Popovic was a mistake and make him the towel boy.

      - Sign Joe Thornton.

      - Admit having Shawn Bates in the same state is a mistake and send him to the ECHL club.

      - Cross train Eric Niklaus to drive the Zamboni.

      - Sign Sami Pahlasson and Martin Greiner

      - Keep Marquis and Henderson up with the big club.

      - Find a spot for Jeff Zehr and Joel Prpic.

      - Fire Burns and bring back Don Cherry and Blue!
