The reason he drew the picture was as you said he couldn't get up he had to draw something... But the reason he did it was to kinda tell himself in the future what to do in the situation he was in... in the Prison so he could get out and go back in Time.

I understand all of the movie EXCEPT for why the Brother had Adult like Strength was Ashton came back in time.

No the first time they had Sex... there had to be a first time... everything was done once. Then he went back in time to change it... it's sorta implied that he has done it more often then you actually see in the movie... So before he can change anything it had to happen.
