Senior Banker,

I just require a letter stating that !!!when!!! my client deposits the given amount into the bank, the bank will issue them a credit line of 2 hopefully 3 times the deposited amount.

The amount will be USD200M. The Bank will block the deposited amount in order to issue a credit line to us for 2-3 times the deposited amount.

All neccessary documents will be provided (please state what you additionally require) in order to make this happen, once the letter is issued to assure the credit facility.

This money will be bank-to-bank transfered with full explaination of money orgin and security.

We can do this the easy way, via time (whereby my client will do it themselves).

However, I requested that I could find a faster solution instead of waiting and instead of just getting the 100% their banks have offered.

That is why I am searching for other solutions to quicken the process.

Thank You

Leverage

David:

Is not that simple. Your client must show capability to repay the "loan".

Is he just simply walking into the bank and requesting this leverage?

What will be the use of the leveraged funds?

Where is your client located?

As you can see, there are million questions to ask about your request.

I have forwarded your post and message to one of my banking contacts. They should be entering in contact with you very soon.

Once something good comes out of this, and you make a lot of money, please donate a portion to local charity groups ("feed the children, doctors without borders, the red cross, make a wish foundation"....etc.).

Okay?

Credit vs Advise

Score 3.0 (1 person)

TRB,

I noticed that you had answered Mr. Greenberg
to his request for funding based upon a deposit made
by his client prior to the funds from the provider being
added.
I would like to know if this was ever successful.
The reason is that I have a client with a similar
requirement for project funding, but his bank will
only respond to an advise (MT-799, RWA, or Letter of
comittment) from the provider to fund, to which the
clients bank issues an undertking to open a credit line
for the client.
The deposit of funds could them be made as explained
in the earlier request by Mr. Greenberg.
Any suggestions or offers would be appreciated.
This client is a Singapore construction company
with major projects in differnt parts of Asia.

Regards,
Larry Martin

David's request did not make business sense to them.

David,
Just curious, but how receptive are Singapore banks to extending credit lately?
