Gentlemen,
Again and again I see posters who do not understand the business
try to get in by proposing nonsensical gibberish on the forum.
There is a wealth of information on this board for anyone to read up.
A private placement is a private treaty between a lender and borrower
and a note is nothing of an 'I Owe You' with bells and whistles.
Rating is an indicator of the credit worthiness of the folks
in the transaction.
The crux is the regulatory minefield that Joker Brokers don't seem
to get.
To be in the game, a certain level of competency is a requirment
and I see offerers not understanding the mere basic, trying to entice
investors with long, boring, unbelieveable tales of trillions, conspiricy
theories, orders of secret knights ( worse than Dan Brown's yarn ) stories
and yet, investors fall for it.
Worst of all I see joker brokers play acting, pretending to be investors,
only to con fellow joker brokers pretending to be traders.
On this forum, there are several silent participants who had written to me
for advise, and I recommended them to brokerages, not to say I had not
receieve my fair share of flakes and several other forum members had
shared their info base with me as well of which I am most grateful.
Gentlemen, to cut my rambling short, do your Due D and know your stuff
from regulatory, compliance, risk management stand point before
getting your feet wet.

William;
Good write-out!
However, many of the so-called "brokers" do not know their duties and jobs well.
All the best. |
