I have been introduced to 2 different collateral providers recently that have a similar type of funding procedure yet one is charging massive up front fees, and the other is just a pain in the butt to deal with as far as communication and transparency with company bios, or even certain contact information. They basically request that we have our funding institution fill out these exhibit letters on our bank letterhead with 2 signatories, which is fine, they are non-binding, non-committal, etc. They will then bring forward a cash backed instrument for us to use as collateral to fund against and they take a 50% equity slice of the project.
Does anyone have any similar collateral providers that can perform as we have no problem doing those types of exhibits and we also have the lending institution ready to go, just need the instrument provider. Any help?

I have the collateral providers-----that do not charge any up-front fees and they do not take any equity in your project!!! But you have to have the bankers at a top world bank ready to agree to the project funding and accept the collateral from a top world bank!!!
these collateral providers get paid after the closing at the bank for your project------if you have the bankers ready to help you!!!
Good luck, Mike

Will, The reason I was seeking this instrument was because the project that we are trying to complete is pending full approval that collateral can be put in place on behalf of the client in benefit for the lending institution. They are liquid for "some" funds but no where near to the size of what their project requires. We were seeking a collateral provider that can bring forth an instrument on behalf of the project for 50% ownership exchange. I actually already decided to not do the project but that was basically what we were trying to do. Thanks for all of the responses.

Hi,
We have a similar situation, but although we have direct contact with the collateral provider, we have no financial institution to provide the funding.
Its the same as you but on opposite terms.
Have no idea how to go forward
