most banks are very hesitant when it comes to third party checks, the endorsing party shares the liability but usually any bank worth its money will scan and SWIFT the check and get it confirmed before buying, thats a process which takes 1h to 1 day depending on the issuer and the time zones of the participants.

The problem is you have to present the check, means deposit it, so when it is fake the one on the account is getting "burnt".

Richard you are 100 percent correct, it is the poor individual who presents the check to his bank cops the trouble that normally follows these type of deals.

I know a lawyer in california who nearly lost his licence over submitting one of these to his bank.

A lesson learned, never get involved with anything third party in the financial world. Unless you know/or can access the source you are heading for deep trouble.

Hi!
Thanks for sharing ur thoughts. Well, I know both the beneficiary and the issuer.Instead of reissuing it to another beneficiary, woudl like to use it as it is.

one possible solution

you can do this if the beneficiary has his bank verify the check and endorese and swift the check to the next beneficiary, otherwise you need to have all papers about the check and its verification etc and use a bank legal counsel who will deposit in a trust facility for the beneficiary and turn it.
There are more direct solutions but it depends on the bank which has to pay
